The Buckeye Group lead the Miss America organization to unprecedented growth by restructuring their branding and sponsorship packaging, and connecting them with like-minded partners to accelerate their brand. As the largest women’s scholarship program in the world, Miss America had 90 years of history, and very undervalued partnerships. The Buckeye Group helped to bring a fresh approach to their market value and revenue model, enabling them to create an aggressive and proactive growth plan which lead to an 80% increase in their revenue, including contracting multi-million dollar sponsorships, and licensing and product development with major partners like DSW and Amway. These strategic alignments have poised the organization to secure long-range revenue.
Energy companies must grow first so that communities can flourish; Hecate energy stays ahead of energy demand everyday by exploring new approaches to development. But to do so swiftly and to help create new pathways to both energy innovation and sustainable living, they asked The Buckeye Group to help them form a fresh approach to partnerships. The Buckeye Group works with Hecate to find partners in entertainment, sports, and education, in Southern California.
Bootlegmarket.com is a transaction fee-based, content-driven marketplace, the Etsy for shoes only, globally, now in redesign. The Buckeye Group is working with Bootleg Market’s CEO to prepare for their next round of capital, while serving as interim CSO. By re-working the finances and business models, and helping design a dashboard for proactive growth and strategic partnerships, The Buckeye Group has been a key consultant in slating Bootleg Market for their Seed (A) round of funding…a critical growth stage for the burgeoning shoe media company.
Delson Institute for Wellness
As a private practice physician, having a competitive edge in an increasingly regulated and changing industry creates continued overhead and operational challenges. It’s not enough anymore, just to be a doctor, nor is there enough time to market and grow a medical practice in addition to owning one. Dr. Josh Delson wanted to be able to pivot and compete with fast growing changes in the medical field, so he enlisted The Buckeye Group to help him strategize his marketing efforts. In a short period of time, existing resources and patient base were examined and re-prioritized and a clear path was laid, to grow the patient base. As a result, The Buckeye Group has helped automate internal systems and operations, while keeping an eye on exposure and a bigger viewpoint on how to compete and thrive. Moreover, The Buckeye Group helped Dr. Delson grow from a private practice serving a local client base, to competing in a higher-minded field of wellness, while tripling revenue. As a case study, it’s the perfect example of how attention to micro details can create macro results, both operationally and in terms of marketplace positioning.
Fleisher Communications Group
A public relations group built organically from the newsroom, Fleisher was a thriving firm, spending the bulk of its time in client service and providing measurable earned media results, often the cornerstone of growth for many organizations. While they prided themselves on what they had accomplished, they hit a plateau in their perspective on growth as a company. Operational assets like human capital, revenue and management became not as scalable as they hoped, until The Buckeye Group was engaged. By reexamining and capitalizing on differentiators like time management, a new strategy was quickly created, one that kept associates focused on growth instead of stuck inside their reporting processes. In addition, specific milestones were mapped out so the firm could focus on their goals and successes as a business, not just the success of otherbusinesses. This has increased their client based, provided more like-minded clientele options, and led to a smarter allocation of internal resources.
