Kevin Kroos
Kevin has made a career out of sensing opportunities in the marketplace and capitalizing on them. He recently made several licensing deals for Miss America and led the fundraising efforts for several investments and currently owns 3 franchises of Anytime Fitness, the fast-growing fitness chain, bringing healthy lifestyle habits to New Jersey residents around the clock.
Kroos founded Capitol Mortgage Services Inc. in January 1994. The firm engaged in nearly every aspect of the financing industry, including residential, commercial, and wholesale lending, consistently closing over $100 million in volume on nearly 1,200 transactions annually. As majority owner, Kroos managed Capitol’s transition from a broker to banker.
He oversaw the creation of ULR Express, a proprietary pricing engine as well as Capitol’s $30 million line of credit. While doing so, he built and maintained relationships with the mortgage banks and Wall Street firms to whom Capitol sold to in bulk and created Capitol’s private placement that resulted in $1.5 million in new funds.
A graduate of Ohio State University, Kroos has served on a variety of community boards, and is the Treasurer of the Columbus Jewish Federation. He is a member of the Columbus chapter for Young Entrepreneurs.
